Ari Allansson is an Icelandic filmmaker living in Paris, France. He has made several short films and short documentaries that have been screened at various film festivals around the world. He has sat on juries at film festivals and worked as a film journalist. Ari has also created videos and installations that have been screened at art festivals. and internationally recognized galleries and museums, such as Centre Pompidou in Paris, and more.
Ari lives in Paris, France. He works between France, Iceland and Sweden. In his work Ari is interested in the subject of identity and how belonging to a certain culture, society, country, and so on - affects the individual.
